We are pleased to let you know that UAW Region 9A will be granting its annual civil and human rights awards in a virtual program with keynote speaker Stacey Abrams, Founder of Fair Fight and champion of voter rights. Stacey Abrams is a leading figure in the ten year grassroots voter rights coalition in Georgia, which brought about a transformative political victory in the state, with a majority vote for Biden/Harris and the election of two Democratic senators. With the election of Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, Georgia has now elected its first Black senator and its first Jewish senator. Please join us in honoring Stacey Abrams’s amazing coalition work on:
